The University of Newcastle will offer the following programs in Sydney:

The University’s degrees in Professional Accounting are accredited by two professional accounting bodies in Australia: CPA Australia and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). Students completing the Master of Professional Accounting and the Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) will meet the academic requirements for Associate Membership of CPA Australia and enrolment in the CPA Program, and for enrolment in the Chartered Accountants Program of the ICAA.

Admission Criteria for Masters Programs

 

Students who wish to apply for the University’s Masters Programs must hold one of the following:

 

a recognised Bachelor degree, a Postgraduate Diploma or a recognised Graduate Certificate from any discipline; or

 

a recognised Diploma and two years work experience; or

 

a GMAT score of 550

 

Students who do not meet these requirements can apply for a Graduate Certificate in Business. On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business, students can then progress into a Masters program of their choice.
